Job Title:

Automation Technician Job Description As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of new equipment and systems, as well as performing preventative and corrective maintenance. You will also provide on-call assistance and contribute to internal process improvements. Responsibilities Identify and address malfunctions of plant operational equipment. Monitor plant equipment operation and performance, adjusting to performance specifications as necessary. Perform routine preventative maintenance. Communicate the status of operating equipment to supervisors or personnel. Maintain logs, reports, work requests, or other records of work performed in the plant. Maintain the building, phone system, and network/computer cabling. Install new equipment and systems. Create work instructions for production processes of new equipment. Train appropriate personnel on new equipment and systems. Essential Skills Strong electrical and mechanical background. Experience in the maintenance of industrial equipment. Proficiency in IT, particularly with Siemens PLC, Parker drives, Fanuc robotics, AutoCAD, and industrial networking. Additional Skills & Qualifications Expertise in electrical, troubleshooting, automation, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, 3-phase systems, and automation systems. Experience in PLC programming. Why Work Here?
