Our team is responsible for performing duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups. What You Will Be Doing As the Electronics Technician Maintenance I, you will be responsible for applying basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks, following detailed instructions to complete tasks, and replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing simple electronic equipment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Applying basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks. Following detailed instructions to complete tasks. Replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing simple electronic equipment. Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. Working under close supervision and receiving technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE ABILITY TO WORK ALTERNATE SCHEDULES AS BUSINESS NEEDS DICTATE.
Basic Qualifications 3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools and applicable test equipment Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals Desired Skills Soldering experience Prior harness fabrication experience Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints Experience operating and maintaining wire marking systems Pay Information This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) with an hourly wage of no less than $27.21 per hour. SCA employees receive a minimum of 80 hours of vacation and 88 hours of holiday paid time off. Paid sick leave is up to 56 hours annually. Paid time off is prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This is a general summary and fringe benefits are governed by the contract. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
