Job Description

Oxmoor Ford in Louisville, KY is hiring a Certified Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We're a family-owned dealership that values both our employees and our customers, and we invest in technician growth through ongoing training and certification. Responsibilities:
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C) Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately according to dealership and Ford standards Test-drive vehicles and perform diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications Communicate with service advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
Requirements:
2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred Ford certification preferred B-level technician skills (diagnostics, electrical, engine repair) Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment Ability to learn new technologies and repair procedures Strong attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license with clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Must provide own tools Benefits 401(k) Health, dental, and medical insurance Paid time off and vacation Flexible schedule Employee discount Paid Ford certification training Career growth opportunities Long-term job security
