Job Description

I'm Marshall , General Manager here at ADAS Louisville . We're an independent calibration shop on Ampere Drive, and we handle the ADAS work for collision centers, glass shops, and dealerships all over the Louisville area. Every vehicle we touch goes back to a customer who's trusting that the cameras and sensors are right. That's the whole job, and we take it seriously. We're a small crew, which means you won't be a number here. You'll know everybody, your work will be visible, and when you're good at this, you won't have to wait in line behind a corporate ladder for anyone to notice. I'm looking for one more technician to join our team.
Key Items:
Mobile Role:
Operate a fully equipped company service vehicle; valid driver's license and clean MVR required. The vehicle stays at our Ampere Drive shop. You will start and end each day here.
Pay:
Commensurate with skill level and experience.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8-5
What You'll Do:
Calibrations:
Complete static and dynamic ADAS calibrations on foreign and domestic vehicles, at our shop and at customer locations.
Diagnostics:
Run pre-scans and post-scans, diagnose electrical and electronic faults, and troubleshoot the calibrations that don't complete on the first try.
Electrical Repair:
Read wiring schematics and repair or replace faulty harnesses, connectors, and modules.
Programming:
Program modules using factory and aftermarket software, and keep your tooling software current.
Road Testing:
Test drive vehicles following dynamic and Static calibrations.
Customer Service:
Build relationships with the shops we serve and explain calibration requirements and findings clearly to their staff - verbally and in writing.
Inventory & Equipment:
Take ownership of your assigned vehicle, scan tools, targets, and mobile devices, and keep your work area organized.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate daily routing and scheduling with the rest of the crew.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
3+ years as an automotive technician. ADAS calibration training, module programming, or wiring repair experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong electrical and electronic diagnostic ability. You can follow a fault through a wiring diagram to its source. Comfortable with scan tools, factory/OEM software, and basic computer and mobile device use.
Certifications:
ASE or I-CAR certifications preferred. Trade school background is a plus.
Work Environment:
Able to work in and around collision repair shops and adapt to a fast-paced day.
Organization:
Good organizational skills. You will manage your own route, your own vehicle inventory, and your own documentation. Able to manage multiple competing priorities.
Drive:
Self-motivated, with a high standard for your own work. You'll be in the field on your own most of the day, you set the pace, and you don't leave a calibration until it's right.
Professionalism:
Professional appearance and conduct. You represent ADAS Louisville positively every time you walk into a customer's shop.
Position Requirements:
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and MVR check, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs and get in and out of vehicles with ease. Occasional travel outside the assigned service area may be required.
Why You'll Like Working Here:
You're Not a
Number:
We're an independent shop, not a national chain. Decisions get made here, by people you actually see, and you'll have a direct line to the person running this business.
Real Ownership:
You'll run your own day and own your jobs start to finish. Nobody's standing over your shoulder.
A Growing Field:
ADAS is one of the few corners of this trade that's expanding rather than shrinking. The technology changes constantly and there's always more to learn. We Invest in
You:
Professional development assistance. We will pay for your manufacturer and industry certifications.
Solid Benefits:
Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, six paid holidays, company service vehicle, tools, and uniforms provided.

From $75,000.00 per year
