Job Description
Job Overview Retail Data Systems of Kentucky is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Electronics Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in electronics who is eager to learn and grow within the company. While prior experience is not required, candidates with basic knowledge of electronics and familiarity with hand tools are encouraged to apply. We will train and mentor the right candidate to help you advance your skills and career. Responsibilities Repair/refurbish various electronic devices used in the point-of-sale industry, with guidance from experienced technicians. Receive, record, and organize daily deliveries, and ship repaired devices and supplies to customers. Assist in organizing and tracking inventory in a small warehouse, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored. Use hand tools for basic repair and assembly tasks, ensuring quality and accuracy. Occasional site visits to client locations for support, troubleshooting, or installation services. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and shipping activities. Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. Preferred Qualifications Some basic knowledge of electronics and experience with hand tools is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow within the POS industry. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
