Job Summary:

We are hiring a maintenance employee to join our team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role, you should have experience in maintenance, be skilled with various hand and power tools, able to read blueprints, repair manuals, and tape measure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

MAINTENANCE LEVEL 1

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance to the equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Know how to read a tape measure.
• Ability to replace all types of bearings, chains, sprockets, belts and pulleys.
• Minor plumbing jobs, sinks, toilets, sewer pumps.
• Ability to replace all types of light bulbs.
• Ability to track and repair conveyor belts. (splicing)
• 2 years of schooling or 2 years' experience.
• Minor painting.

MAINTENANCE LEVEL 2

• Level 1 skills
• Repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Replacing and repairing electric motors and gearboxes.
• Ability to use a multi-meter. (volts, ohms, Amps)
• Minor welding using a stick and wire welder.
• Ability to operate a cutting torch.
• Ability to repair damaged threads on bolts or threaded holes.
• Ability to remove broken bolts.
• 3 years of experience.

MAINTENANCE FOR PAINTROOM

• Level 2 Maintenance skills
• Keep checks on repair parts for pumps, paint guns, agitators and anything paint room related.
• Ability to repair pumps, paint guns, agitators, and regulators.
• Ability to trouble shoot and repair paint room machinery.
• Ability to install paint tubing. repair parts for pumps, paint guns, agitators and anything paint room related.
• Ability to repair pumps, paint guns, agitators, and regulators.
• Ability to trouble shoot and repair paint room machinery.
• Ability to install paint tubing.

MAINTENANCE-SANDING TECHNICIAN

• Level 2 Maintenance Skills
• Keep daily checks on sanders to ensure sanding quality.
• Routine set-up of equipment.
• Work with sandpaper vendors with issues.
• Keep check on spare parts for all sanders. Order as needed.
• Understand sanding and what grit paper works with what species of wood.
• Read equipment manuals.
• Keep up with lube schedule.
• Keep sanding platinum's repaired.
• Willing to do adjustments, setup, and repairs after production hours.
• 1 year of training on sanders.
• How to dress (grind) feed belts to ensure level parts to clear machine.
• How to dress (grind) rubber drum rollers to ensure level parts to clear machine.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be proficient in reading a tape measure. Ability to start up and shut down machine. Computer skills. Ability to follow safety guidelines and work process procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with other employees. Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing, and time management. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete those tasks in a timely manner. Must be a self-starter who works well with others and can follow a list of daily work assignments. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.
