Responsibilities Build and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, cabinets, and subassemblies Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, work orders, and bills of material Perform point-to-point wiring and install components such as PLCs, relays, lights, and switches Use hand tools including wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers Drill and tap holes for mounting electrical components and equipment Install completed assemblies and subassemblies into cases and cabinets Make red-line updates to drawings and documentation for Engineering changes Perform basic mechanical work such as deburring, grinding, and sawing Use hand pallet jacks to move materials within the facility Work independently and as part of a team to meet production requirements Work overtime as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls preferred 2+ years of experience building and wiring electrical control panels Experience reading electrical schematics and diagrams Understanding of basic electrical concepts and current Strong experience with hand tools Experience drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels required Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Frequent use of hand tools Ability to stand for extended periods Work Environment Manufacturing environment Regular use of machinery and hand tools Required PPE may include safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and hardhats Loose-fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted
