Our clients are located in New England and parts of New York, so if you're located in ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT or NY and interested in working on electric vehicles and automated equipment, we'd love to connect with you! Whether you've worked as a forklift technician or have transferable experience as an auto, diesel, conveyor, heavy equipment, or other electro-mechanical mechanic—this could be the perfect next step in your career. What You'll Do Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks along with other industrial equipment such as warehouse storage systems, conveyors, carousels, and other automated material handling equipment Work directly with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges Apply and grow your mechanical and technical skills through continuous training Submit electronic work orders efficiently using a company-provided tablet Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service Qualifications and Skills Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effective maintenance . Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems (a plus) Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals Ability to communicate regularly by phone and in person with team members, parts representatives, technical specialists, dispatch, lead service techs, and customers, required Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent customer service Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive pay
