Duties:

Assemble, align, bond, and test free-space optical assemblies and laser heads in a clean room environment. Align and integrate optical components, including lenses, mirrors, beam splitters, and other precision optical elements. Operate laser systems and optical test equipment to verify alignment and product performance. Perform functional testing and inspection to ensure assemblies meet quality and performance specifications. Troubleshoot assembly and alignment issues and work with engineering to implement solutions. Accurately document assembly, testing, and inspection results in accordance with company procedures. Follow clean room protocols and comply with all safety and quality requirements, including laser safety and ESD procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, product quality, and production efficiency. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential functions of this position. Optical school graduate or equivalent experience Competent in the use of optical measurement tools, gauges, and meters. Craftsman skill level with assembly hand tools and light power tools. Neat, accurate, and consistent work. Works well independently and assumes responsibility for own work. Attention to detail and ability to retain communicated information. Appropriate communication skills to convey information to other associates and supervisors. Understands when to request guidance from superiors and the proper chain of command. IND123 #ZR
