Position Description You will serve as a
ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
in the Integrated Combat Environments Div, Int Battlespace Sim & Test Dept of
NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will plan, coordinate, and lead complex Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) and electromagnetic compatibility research, development, and test events for systems. You will configure, calibrate, and operate advanced radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test instrumentation to collect and analyze technical performance data. You will evaluate test results to identify electromagnetic interference issues, recommend corrective engineering solutions, and prepare comprehensive technical reports. You will provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to engineers, program offices, and integrated product teams to ensure compliance with standards. You will serve as the technical lead during test events, managing daily site operations, enforcing safety protocols, and mentoring junior technicians and engineers.
