Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive testing and inspection of electronic assemblies and systems to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the development, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic products, supporting our commitment to delivering reliable and high-performance solutions. This is a day shift M-F 730am-330pm schedule plus OT as needed. Duties Conduct detailed electrical diagnostics and functional testing on a variety of electronic devices and systems using diagnostic tools and spectrum analyzers. Perform electrical voltage testing, component testing, and circuit testing to verify product performance against specifications. Utilize surface mount technology (SMT) techniques for soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring adherence to IPC 610 standards for quality. Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues and guide repairs or adjustments. Implement automated optical inspection (AOI) processes and utilize hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and ohmmeters for precise measurements. Collect data during testing procedures, analyze results for quality control purposes, and document findings accurately for quality assurance records. Support manufacturing by performing assembly tasks, quality inspections, and RF (radio frequency) testing when necessary to ensure product integrity. Requirements Proven experience with electronics functional testing, electrical diagnostics, and circuit testing in a manufacturing or laboratory setting. Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and electrical schematic reading. Familiarity with quality control standards and quality assurance procedures within electronics manufacturing. Ability to operate spectrum analyzers, automated test equipment, and diagnostic tools effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to electronic assembly processes and the use of precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Skilled in interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting documents. Knowledge of testing and assembly procedures, electrical safety protocols, and electronic components. Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail; capable of debugging complex electronic systems efficiently. Strong communication skills for documenting test results clearly and collaborating with engineering teams on troubleshooting efforts.
