Job Description
✨ If you love figuring out how things work, you'll thrive here — we'll teach you the rest. ✨ Summary / Objective Respond to emergency service calls to diagnose and repair problems with compactors, balers, dock levelers, etc. Jobsite visits to planned service and maintenance calls to repair, clean, inspect chutes, compactors and containers. Training and development of service & PM technicians. Essential Functions Interpret job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements Read and understand electrical schematics Diagnose issues with compactors Repair and replace parts and products as needed Drive and operate company service trucks to visit job sites Respond to emergency calls, including overtime and alternating on-call shifts Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failure Maintain detailed service records and inspection logs Conduct performance tests and calibrations to ensure optimal operation Communicate findings and recommendations to clients Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards during PM visits Competencies Basic electrical knowledge Basic hydraulic knowledge Basic welding ability Clean driving record Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective problem-solving ability Dependable and consistent work ethic Comfort working in small, dirty, or confined spaces Required Education and Experience 1. Minimum of 1 year of electrical/hydraulic repair work
