In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of critical systems through meticulous testing, calibration, and maintenance. Your expertise in electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems will contribute directly to the efficiency and safety of our operations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and calibration of diverse instrumentation systems, including electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic process controls. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in process instrumentation, microprocessor-controlled radiation monitoring systems, and electronic nuclear instrumentation. Utilize computer systems and software to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices and servers. Install and test design modifications to instrumentation equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. Provide support to engineers and vendor representatives in data collection, troubleshooting, and testing of specialized equipment. Document equipment discrepancies and abnormal conditions, initiating corrective actions as needed. Contribute to the development and review of test procedures, offering technical insights and verification. Participate in work package reviews and walkdowns, ensuring comprehensive understanding and preparedness. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in instrumentation and controls or a similar technical role. Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and process and instrumentation diagrams. Ability to pass background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and employment testing. Preferred Skills CPR/AED certification. Experience working within radiological controlled areas.
