The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with experience in diesel engines, equipment repair, and automotive systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced schematics and power tools in a dynamic environment focused on delivering reliable power solutions to our clients. The Generator Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of generator units through hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair generator systems, including diesel engines and electrical components Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on generators and related equipment Use hand tools, power tools, proper techniques to complete repairs Conduct heavy lifting as needed for parts or equipment replacement Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly Adhere to safety protocols during all repair activities to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications Proven experience as a generator technician or basic mechanic, preferably background Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, generator repair, and equipment repair Experience working with schematics and electrical systems Familiarity with generator repair, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively Mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills Valid driver's license preferred for travel between job sites This position offers an engaging work environment where technical expertise is valued and professional growth is encouraged.
