The Opportunity Converting Technician Sets up and operates converting packaging equipment to assemble packaging products for disposable medical device packaging markets by performing the following duties. Shift 1st/2nd/3rd 1st shift-6a.m.-2p.m. 2nd shift-2p.m.-10p.m. 3rd shift 10p.m.-6a.m. What You'll Work On Set up and operate converting equipment by following established work procedures and instructions Read and understand converting customer specifications Mount plate, dies and secure assemblies in bed of machine Install and align all relevant auxiliary equipment (punches, secondary dies, edge guides, eye block readers) Clean dies and return to storage area Check sample of finish product from the end of the machine and inspect for imperfections. Perform required specification checks per relevant documentation. Meet and/or exceed productivity and quality requirements Complete daily and weekly production and labor reporting paperwork. Perform all necessary 5S and housekeeping duties, as defined by the team leader, to maintain safe and organized work area. Deliver presentations to individuals or groups on medical packaging products or the converting making process. Conducts/participates in 5S and safety audits, implements corrective actions and inspects product.
