I&E Technician Hemlock, MI, United States | req32436 What you will enjoy doing• You will perform work safely following Linde's policies and procedures Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below) and automatic control valves Calibrate and maintain pneumatic, electronic, and process control instrumentation, including analytical equipment such as IR and Gas Chromatograph analyzers Further, you will use control logic drawings to troubleshoot process control systems and document repairs in the CMMS system Schedule and execute maintenance for electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, motor control, and analytical systems Climb ladders, stairways, and operate man-lifts for elevated maintenance while ensuring safety and instructing contract personnel on compliance Be knowledgeable of switchgear control systems and functionally rack breakers in and out or switch them Read, interpret, and maintain, as needed, P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams in compliance with SOPs, QA, and MOC policies Learn to operate units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements. Support Operations as needed Also, monitor process performance and make appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align with the specified norm What makes you great You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent apprenticeship is preferred Bring at least three years of experience in process control instrumentation Moreover, you demonstrate proficiency with a variety of instrumentation and electrical hand tools, meters, and calibration equipment Possess working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors You are able to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams accurately Exhibit strong organizational and planning abilities to manage tasks effectively Apply strong computer skills to support technical and administrative duties Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
