Why Ionbond One of the world's largest coating networks: 34 centers in 15 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia Cutting‑edge PVD, PACVD, and CVD solutions serving aerospace, medical, food contact, automotive, decorative, tooling, and fuel cell markets Backed by the IHI Group — a renowned Japanese industrial consortium Professional growth through international and local opportunities, plus training on vacuum technology if you are new to it Your impact Keep production equipment, the clean line, and plant systems running through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Troubleshoot and repair vacuum systems; safely service high‑voltage components Record and manage maintenance notifications, histories, and technical documents, including blueprints and schematics Prioritize work to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability Monitor performance and uptime; implement strategies to minimize failures and enhance efficiency Partner with managers and process engineers to resolve interruptions, variable process results, and equipment bottlenecks Champion 5S to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace Support additional tasks as business needs evolve What you need to succeed 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience Technical/trade or engineering education preferred; high school diploma/GED required Experience with vacuum technology (or strong interest — we will train) Expertise in failure mechanisms, root cause analysis, and corrective repair Strong electrical aptitude; working knowledge of control systems and PLCs Self‑directed, highly motivated, and deadline‑driven Effective communicator with peers, management, and suppliers (verbal and email) Open to overtime and weekend work as required Willing to travel occasionally within the U.S. and internationally Compliance Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check and physical screening.
