100% onsite- Milford, MI- 1st shift. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Electronics Engineering Technician to support a cutting-edge propulsion controller development program. Looking for 3-5 years of electronic equipment experience. Preferred automotive or consumer electronics experience. Required Technical Responsibilities Solder and rework small electrical components, including 0805 and 0402 package devices. Perform hot air reflow and component replacement, including IC replacement. Assist engineers in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of failed electronic components. Utilize bench laboratory equipment, including: Power supplies Oscilloscopes Load boxes Flash/programming tools Design, build, and modify wire harnesses. Build test boxes and breakout boards for laboratory testing. Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of electronic controllers using hand tools. Execute PCB modifications and support engineering development activities. Document work progress, test results, and controller status accurately. Support bench testing and issue replication activities. Daily Activities Work closely with a small engineering team (3-5 engineers). Modify and rework printed circuit boards. Solder and replace electronic components. Test controllers and electronic systems on lab benches. Operate laboratory test equipment. Assist with troubleshooting hardware issues. Build and maintain wire harnesses, test fixtures, and breakout boards. HS diploma required, associatio degree preferred.

Pay:

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
