This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys hands-on technical work, testing equipment, instrumentation, and troubleshooting. What You'll Do Assist with mechanical testing of components and products. Set up, calibrate, and operate test equipment and instrumentation. Collect, record, and organize test data. Monitor testing and identify equipment or test irregularities. Assist with basic troubleshooting and failure analysis. Inspect and document failed components and returned parts. Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance. Work closely with Test Engineers and senior technicians. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical Institute Program or Associate Degree in Engineering Technology is a plus. 0-2 years of relevant experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic wiring skills. Hands-on experience in a test engineering, laboratory, mechanical testing, or instrumentation environment preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to follow test procedures, safety requirements, and engineering instructions. Preferred Technical Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ) Instrumentation and Testing Pressure Transducers Flowmeters CMM Rotec Dewetron Dewesoft Component Testing Test Equipment Setup and Calibration Candidates do not need experience with every system listed above. We are looking for someone with a strong hands-on foundation who can be trained and developed within our test engineering team. Work Environment This position works primarily in an Engineering Development Lab and involves a combination of standing and sitting, with occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs., bending, kneeling, reaching, and other hands-on testing activities.
