Description About the Role We are seeking a Dyno Operator to support vehicle testing and new site capabilities at Milford. This role will work with vehicle test equipment, test automation systems, and vehicle communication tools to prepare, monitor, and complete testing activities safely and efficiently. The selected candidate will initially train on 1st shift for approximately 2-3 months, working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, before transitioning to a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule. Key Responsibilities Review test communications and complete test request processes. Prepare vehicles and install them on test sites. Monitor vehicle tests and safely remove vehicles after testing. Operate and work with chassis dynamometer (dyno) testing equipment. Troubleshoot test setup and vehicle communication issues. Conduct safety observations and help investigate safety incidents. Maintain test sites and ensure they are free of hazards such as snow, ice, oil, and fuel. Complete quality audits and help resolve quality issues. Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities. Communicate and escalate issues effectively and in a timely manner. Train team members on assigned processes and maintain training documentation. Participate in shift overlap meetings and team activities. Maintain accurate standardized work documentation. Follow environmental, safety, and quality requirements. Complete required timekeeping and other routine documentation. Required Qualifications 2-year technical degree required. At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred. Basic understanding of vehicle communication tools. Ability to investigate communication or test setup issues. Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability and willingness to learn new technical skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team . Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working with hands-on testing equipment and tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with vehicle test equipment. Understanding of vehicle components and repair. Technical or automotive background. Experience with chassis dynamometers. Experience with INCA or similar vehicle communication tools. Experience working with test automation or test-site control systems.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
