1st Shift, Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM). Overtime as required. Position Summary The Grinding Technician supports Mountain Manufacturing's production operations through the operation of centerless grinding equipment. This role is responsible for operating machines, inspecting parts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring material meets customer and quality requirements.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of grinding machine operation experience. Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings. Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators). Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Basic math skills. Ability to follow job travelers and written instructions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

Experience with centerless or cylindrical grinding equipment. Experience with Cincinnati or similar machines. Experience in medical or regulated manufacturing. Familiarity with

ISO 13485

requirements. Experience working to tight tolerances (± .0001"). Responsibilities Machine Operation Operate centerless grinding equipment per job travelers and work instructions. Load/unload materials and monitor machine cycles. Adjust machine offsets as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy. Support setup activities as skills progress. Inspection and Quality Perform in-process inspections using appropriate measuring tools. Record inspection results accurately. Identify and communicate quality concerns. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements. Equipment and Maintenance Maintain machines and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Report equipment issues to supervision. Follow all safety and PPE requirements. Production Support Communicate production or quality issues to supervisors or Quality personnel. Maintain accurate production documentation. Support continuous improvement efforts. Assist with training when appropriate. Additional Duties Follow company policies and quality system requirements. Support production priorities and perform other duties as assigned. Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
