Engineering Technician Job Description As an Engineering Technician , you will play a key role in bringing high‑precision automated solutions to life. Working closely with our engineering team, you will lead the mechanical and electrical assembly, field wiring, alignment, and setup of custom‑designed automation equipment. You'll join a highly driven, experienced team with a strong reputation for delivering world‑class automated systems, and your work will directly impact the quality and success of our customer solutions. What You'll Do Lead mechanical and electrical assembly of custom automated equipment Perform field wiring, system alignment, and equipment setup Support testing, troubleshooting, and final system integration Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure build accuracy and quality Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and documentation Qualifications High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma required Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems & Robotics, or equivalent preferred Hands‑on experience with power and hand tools, machine building, mechanics, and electronics Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to travel by air or car (up to ~10%) U.S. citizenship or permanent authorization to work in the United States Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
