For over 30 years, Lind has been the main supplier of reliable, quality products for our many customers worldwide. Lind designs and assembles its products on-site at our manufacturing facility in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Our primary products are digitally controlled DC-DC power adapters and battery chargers for ruggedized laptop and tablet computers. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician. In this rewarding position, you will work directly with engineers, technicians, and production teams to assist in the design and development of our extensive line of products.
Key Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is NOT all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary. Understand our circuit designs under guidance from our engineers and senior technicians Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test electrical systems Analyze failed units from our production line and assist in determining the root cause Assemble and solder printed circuit boards for prototypes Test prototypes and production units for functionality according to provided specifications Troubleshoot field failures from customers and report on the issue Assist in construction of electronic test fixtures Assist in creating manufacturing documentation as needed Assist in maintaining lab inventory including equipment, tools, and components for prototyping
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or certification equivalent in Electronics Technology or related field 3-6 years work experience as an engineering technician or related technical job Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electronic systems Familiarity with electronic components and schematic symbols Experience with wire harness preferred Direct experience with testing and diagnostic tools such as power supplies, digital multimeters, etc Experience in direct manufacturing preferred Experience working cross-functionally with other teams
