Job Description

Job Overview We're seeking a skilled Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair printers and mobile computing devices. In this hands-on role, you'll restore equipment to full working order, ensuring our customers receive reliable, high-quality service. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair printers (thermal, laser, inkjet, and label printers) and mobile computers (handheld scanners, tablets, and rugged devices) Perform component-level troubleshooting and replace defective parts Conduct preventive maintenance and firmware/software updates Test repaired units to verify functionality before return Document repairs, parts used, and service notes accurately Manage repair workflow to meet turnaround times Communicate with customers or internal teams regarding repair status and recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Boxing up hardware and getting shipping label added. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree a plus 1-3 years of experience repairing electronic devices, printers, or mobile/computing hardware Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using diagnostic tools, soldering equipment, and hand tools Working knowledge of operating systems, networking basics, and connectivity (USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Good communication and time-management abilities Preferred Skills Experience with specific brands (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell, HP, Datamax) Familiarity with barcode/label printing technology ESD (electrostatic discharge) handling knowledge Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Manual dexterity for working with small components
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
