Total Highspeed is a locally owned and operated company providing internet service for over 20 years. Our knowledge of the current wireless and fiber technology allows us to provide superior quality, high speed internet where DSL and cable are not accessible. Currently we provide service to over 150 rural communities in Missouri and Arkansas, making us one of the largest internet providers in the state of Missouri. We are growing! Our Fiber Optic Network is expanding and allowing rural homes the same service big cities can provide. It is an exciting time for us, and we would like you to be a part of our team! Job Summary The I&R Ground Hand is a position for anyone looking to get into the telecommunications trade with little to no experience. Your day to day will consist of working with a lead I&R technician installing and servicing fiber to the home internet service. Primary Role and Responsibilities for the I&R Ground Hand Work with Lead I&R technician on day to day operations Assist with running all premise related wiring needed to complete jobs Assist with paperwork and documentation when applicable Assist with proper job site clean up and maintenance Assist with material tracking and vehicle inventory readiness for scheduled work What you need to be successful in this role: Experience with hand tools and power tools preferred but not necessary Ability to work long hours standing /sitting in a single position Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics and outdoors Ability to learn networking equipment specs and functions Valid class E driver's license and good driving record
