Job Description

Job Overview StaffRite USA is hiring Installation Technicians for a fast-growing computer hardware and electronics operation in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience installing, assembling, connecting, testing, troubleshooting, or repairing electronic and technical equipment. Previous computer repair experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn may be trained to perform computer hardware testing and basic repair functions. Relevant experience may include cable installation, low-voltage systems, security systems, telecommunications, electronics assembly, automotive electrical work, appliance repair, cell phone repair, computer installation, technical manufacturing, or similar hands-on work. Primary Responsibilities Install and connect computer hardware, cables, components, and related electronic equipment. Follow written work instructions, diagrams, installation procedures, and quality standards. Inspect equipment for physical damage, missing components, loose connections, or other defects. Connect power cables, data cables, peripherals, and internal or external hardware components. Perform basic functionality checks to confirm equipment powers on and operates correctly. Use computer-based programs to record test results, equipment information, and completed work. Identify equipment that does not meet testing or quality requirements. Assist with basic troubleshooting and determine when equipment should be sent for repair. Replace approved components, cables, or hardware after training. Use hand tools and basic testing equipment safely. Maintain an organized work area and follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures. Meet daily productivity and accuracy expectations. Work cooperatively with technicians, quality personnel, supervisors, and production teams. Preferred Experience Candidates may qualify with experience in one or more of the following areas: Cable, internet, satellite, or telecommunications installation Low-voltage wiring or security-system installation Computer setup, repair, refurbishment, or hardware replacement Cell phone, tablet, gaming system, printer, or electronic device repair Electronics assembly, testing, or manufacturing Automotive electrical installation or troubleshooting Appliance, vending machine, copier, ATM, or equipment repair Quality inspection or production testing Mechanical assembly, maintenance, or technical manufacturing Using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, scanners, or diagnostic equipment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic computer literacy and ability to enter information accurately. Comfortable working with cables, connectors, electronic components, and small hardware. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical procedures. Ability to identify differences between acceptable and defective equipment. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Ability to stand and work in a production environment for the majority of the shift. Ability to lift, move, and handle computer equipment as required. Must be available to complete required training.
