Equipment & Maintenance Technician

FULL-TIME YEAR-ROUND

Are you the person everyone calls when something breaks? If you're a mechanic, handyman, farmer, equipment operator, small-engine repair person, or just someone who's always been good at fixing things , we'd like to talk to you. We're looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded person to help keep our equipment, vehicles, shop, and property running. This isn't a traditional mechanic job. You don't need to spend every day working on cars. We're looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, learning new things, and figuring out how to get things fixed. What You'll Do You'll help keep our operation running by: Diagnosing and repairing lawn-care and small-engine equipment Performing preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, sprayers, spreaders, and other equipment Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems Performing general repairs and maintenance around the shop and property Helping with welding, fabrication, plumbing, and other hands-on projects Keeping equipment clean, safe, organized, and ready for use Identifying problems before they become expensive repairs Tracking repairs, parts, and maintenance needs Preparing equipment for the beginning and end of each season Prioritizing repair needs and keeping projects moving Taking ownership of getting problems solved What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is mechanically inclined and enjoys figuring things out Can troubleshoot a problem instead of immediately calling someone else Is comfortable using hand and power tools Can work independently and manage their time Takes pride in doing quality work Is reliable, organized, and safety-minded Isn't afraid to tackle a job they haven't seen before Can learn new equipment, systems, and processes Takes pride in leaving things better than they found them Formal certifications are not required. We care more about your ability to troubleshoot, learn, and get things fixed correctly. Experience That Could Be a Great Fit You may be a good fit if you've worked in: Small engine repair Automotive or diesel repair Farm or agricultural equipment Landscaping or lawn-care equipment Construction Welding or fabrication Facilities maintenance HVAC, plumbing, or electrical General handyman work Fleet maintenance If you have experience in some of these areas but not all of them, we still want to hear from you. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
