Overview We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician with extensive hands-on experience installing electronic door locks for access control systems. The ideal candidate must be proficient in installing, wiring, configuring, and troubleshooting a wide variety of electronic locking hardware and low-voltage systems.

The primary requirement is the ability to independently install and service electronic door locks, including electric door strikes, rim strikes, magnetic locks, electrified exit devices, and other access control hardware

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive experience installing electronic door locks for access control systems Proven experience installing and servicing: Electric door strikes ,Rim strikes, Mortise strikes, Magnetic locks, Electrified panic bars and exit devices Electrified mortise and cylindrical lock,s Other electronic locking hardware Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring and systems Ability to terminate, test, and troubleshoot access control wiring Experience with access control panels, card readers, keypads, power supplies, relays, request-to-exit devices, and door-position switches Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow installation specifications Ability to properly align, fit, and test electronic locks on various types of doors and frames Experience diagnosing lock, power, wiring, and access control system issues Ability to work independently and complete installations professionally Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following experience is preferred but not required: Locksmith experience Alarm system installation experience Access control programming and software experience Experience integrating access control with alarm, CCTV, intercom, or telephone-entry systems Knowledge of commercial door hardware and door and frame preparation Experience with fire alarm interfaces and life-safety requirements Industry certifications or manufacturer training

KEY JOB REQUIREMENT

The successful candidate must be capable of independently installing and troubleshooting a broad range of electronic door locks, including electric strikes, rim strikes, magnetic locks, electrified exit devices, and other access control locking hardware. The candidate must also be experienced with the associated low-voltage wiring, connections, power supplies, and system components. Locksmith or alarm experience is valuable but not required. Extensive electronic lock installation and low-voltage experience are the essential qualifications for this position.
