Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Automation Technician will lead efforts to enhance and maintain the facility's electrical control systems. This position will involve driving automation solutions, from initial setup to ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaboration with the automation team is essential to shape and refine the technological roadmap for the plant. Responsibilities include securing and maintaining the automation infrastructure, ensuring software and programs are updated.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Decoding complex electrical schematics and user manuals for troubleshooting Solving automation and robotics software issues Resolving PLC and touchscreen hardware challenges Helping with network troubleshooting and control networking issues Maintaining and troubleshooting servers with IT Identifying and implementing automation improvements Providing training and guidance to maintenance technicians Organizing and backing up important electrical and automation documentation

Education & Experience Requirements:

Associate's degree from an accredited college or technical school and 2+ years of relevant experience Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation required Programming experience is

REQUIRED

Ability to work 12 hour rotating scheduling and night shifts Ability to read and interpret electrical documents Effective communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Additional Skills:

Experience in mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatics helpful Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
