Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial controls, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, Resistance and MIG welding equipment, and electrical distribution systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems on manufacturing equipment. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial robots and automated systems. Diagnose and repair resistance welders and associated control systems. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical motors, industrial drives, and motor control systems. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, MCCs, and related automation equipment. Install and maintain electrical controls, instrumentation, sensors, and automation devices. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and voltage and control circuit drawings. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime. Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders on Company CMMS. Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma or GED required. Technical degree, apprenticeship, or certification in Electrical Maintenance, Industrial Electronics, or a related field preferred. Experience Five or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred. Experience with robotics, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Working knowledge of industrial power distribution and motor control systems. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, FANUC, Yaskawa Motoman, or similar systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting. Ability to work around moving machinery, electrical equipment, and manufacturing processes. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and other protective equipment as required. Why Join Us?
