An Electronics Repair Technician helps repair electrical and electronic equipment. Undertakes preventative maintenance of equipment and tests of electronic assemblies while adhering to regulatory safety standards.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring the facility's equipment and systems are in optimal working condition.
Duties:
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Ensuring the compliance of all corportate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions. Must be able to work overtime as required, as well as call-ins. When required, flexibility is required to work various shifts to meet business needs.
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous maintenance experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance II Technician Must have critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Must have strong verbal and written and communication skills. Must have complex problem-solving experience identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Self-motivated and able to work well alone or with others. Must be a team player, cooperative, and have good attendance.
