Circuit Activation Team Lead - Pinehurst

Job Summary Leads a Circuit Activation crew responsible for activating, testing, and verifying live fiber services at customer locations. Ensures work meets quality, safety, and service standards. Key Responsibilities Lead daily circuit activation activities Activate and test live fiber services ("light" circuits) Perform troubleshooting and signal validation Guide and train assistant technicians ⁠Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Complete required documentation and reporting Trenching and digging to locate services as required Splicing of fiber ⁠Floating/blowing fiber within existing infrastructure Assistant training and compliance oversight Requirements ⁠ ⁠ Fiber installation / activation experience Fiber splicing experience ⁠FTTH fiber floating/blowing experience preferred Basic equipment knowledge (PON meter, VFL, OTDR, live fiber detector) Ability to perform trenching/digging as needed Strong troubleshooting capability Customer interaction and communication skills Valid driver's license
