Job Summary ELEVATE Outdoors is seeking a motivated and skilled Powersports Technician specializing in Side-by-Side Vehicles (SSV), All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), and Personal Watercraft (PWC) with an emphasis on BRP/Rotax engines. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their adventures are safe, reliable, and exciting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your mechanical skills within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using powersports-specific tools to identify issues with SSVs, ATVs, and PWC engines and systems Responsibilities include performing mechanical and electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs and routine maintenance on customer units and trade-ins Rig new machines and perform routine maintenance such as annual service, tire replacements, accessories, and warranty work Conduct thorough Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure every machine is customer ready Stay current with OEM training and certifications Communicate clearly about repair needs, maintenance procedures, and recommended upgrades Notify Service Writer / Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customer may be contacted and notified of the delay Skills All technician / mechanic candidates must have at least 3 years experience as a
SSV/ATV/ PWC
technician and a great work ethic. BRP Certification is not required but highly recommended Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, brakes, suspension systems, machine assembly with an emphasis on electrical component diagnostics and repair Basic understanding of computers is needed as this is used regularly throughout the workday This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and move at a fast pace Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly Must have a valid driver's license and the necessary tools for the trade Schedule and organize units that need to be built based on customer pick up dates and times Arriving to work on time is a must Must pass drug test and background check Join the ELEVATE team if you're ready to apply your expertise in a exciting environment dedicated to powering fun!
