Job Description

Overview The Engineering Technician works at the intersection of design and production, supporting the drafting and shop floor operations at Unique Concepts. This is a hands-on role suited for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn the craft of custom furniture and cabinetry, and comfortable moving between a computer and a shop environment. Responsibilities Produce technical drawings and shop documents using CAD software Assist shop staff in interpreting drawings and technical documents Help document production processes and assembly notes as needed Learn and apply knowledge of millwork materials, joinery, and fabrication methods over time Translate design concepts and client specifications into accurate, buildable drawings Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and revision records Coordinate with project leads to incorporate design changes and updates Review drawings for accuracy and constructability prior to shop release Skills Associate's degree or equivalent coursework in drafting, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360 preferred; candidates with comparable CAD experience will be considered Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical team members Comfortable working in both an office and active shop environment Self-directed with a willingness to learn — prior millwork or cabinetry experience is a plus, not a requirement Join us if you're eager to bring your engineering expertise into beautiful projects that shape workplaces! Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
