This role combines hands-on technical expertise with equipment maintenance responsibilities, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, and process improvement initiatives. The Engineering Technician works closely with engineering, production, quality, and operations teams to maximize equipment uptime and support organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production, test, and facility equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues. Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency. Ensure spare parts inventory is maintained and critical components are available. Engineering Support Support engineers with equipment development, process improvements, and testing activities. Assist with equipment modifications, upgrades, and automation projects. Create and update technical documentation, equipment procedures, and maintenance instructions. Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Support manufacturing and production teams in resolving technical issues Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field. 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing, industrial operations, or engineering support. Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. •
