This individual will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure equipment is built and tested to customer specifications. Responsibilities Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical components into automated machinery and production equipment. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. Perform machine wiring, panel wiring, and electrical component installation. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues. Test and validate machine functionality prior to shipment. Assist with equipment start-up, commissioning, and debugging activities. Support engineering change orders and continuous improvement initiatives. Document test results, assembly issues, and corrective actions. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality and safety standards. Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Controls Engineers during machine builds. Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience assembling, troubleshooting, or maintaining industrial automation equipment, machinery, or electromechanical systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Hands-on experience with industrial controls, sensors, motors, actuators, relays, and pneumatic systems. Experience with machine wiring and control panels. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment is preferred. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment such as multimeters.
