You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 4th Shift. Also, though you work 36 hours, you will be paid for 40 hours. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Come build your career with BAE Systems. This position is for the operation of Laser Seal equipment for hermetic seal of microelectronic devices. Responsibilities include checking equipment for proper operation prior to use. Preparation of parts for laser welding and seam seal. Fixturing, set up, and laser weld of microelectronic packages and components. Set up and parallel seam seal of microelectronic hybrid packages. Set up and laser marking of parts. Leak testing of hermetically sealed parts. Detection and reporting of defective materials and welds. Documentation of work performed. Candidate must have basic computer and math skills. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, process instructions, and routers. Should have good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity and attention to detail. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instruction/safety guidelines. Required Education, Experience, & Skills H.S. Diploma or GED 2 years of Mechanical Technician-mircroelectronic work experience Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
