Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and logistics of test equipment within engineering laboratory environments. This role will ensure that test equipment and lab setups are properly installed, configured, maintained, tracked, and readily available to support engineering teams and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have experience with test equipment, equipment deployment, asset/inventory management, troubleshooting, and technical support. Experience with RF equipment and engineering lab environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, deploy, and maintain engineering test equipment, benches, testers, and laboratory setups. Transport and install equipment and components, including equipment weighing 25 lbs. or more. Set up test equipment using hand tools and automated test methods to support testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Perform measurements, document test results, track KPIs, and maintain equipment malfunction records. Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform diagnostics, repairs, adjustments, and rework as required. Support root-cause analysis and help reproduce and debug equipment or testing issues. Execute manual and automated test plans and provide input on test procedures and test cases when appropriate. Perform preventive maintenance and support calibration tracking to maintain equipment reliability. Provide Tier 1 technical support to engineering teams during testing and equipment operation. Manage equipment logistics, including purchasing, shipping, receiving, transportation, deployment, and usage tracking. Maintain accurate asset and inventory records in centralized tracking systems. Ensure engineering labs are properly equipped, organized, safe, and ready for testing. Follow applicable ESD, quality, and laboratory safety requirements. Document equipment status, maintenance activities, procedures, and troubleshooting results. Use AI-enabled tools and data to monitor equipment performance, identify trends, improve reliability, and support predictive maintenance. Support data collection and validation for equipment analytics and AI-driven insights. Required Qualifications Associate's degree, OR High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related experience. Hands-on experience with engineering, laboratory, electronic, RF, or test equipment. Experience installing, configuring, deploying, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment. Experience with asset management, inventory control, or equipment logistics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of test equipment and its applications. Ability to provide technical support to engineering users. Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems. Ability to frequently lift, transport, and install equipment weighing 25+ lbs. Preferred Experience RF equipment or RF test environments. Electronics or hardware testing. Engineering laboratory operations. Test bench/test station setup. Calibration and preventive maintenance. Automated or manual testing. ESD-controlled environments. Equipment tracking or asset management systems. Pay:
