Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Waters UPLC Service/Field Engineer or qualified chromatography specialist for a short-term onsite assignment. The specialist will perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance verification on two Waters
ACQUITY UPLC
H-Class systems in a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory. The role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and accurate documentation in accordance with applicable GxP/GMP requirements and customer procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on two Waters
ACQUITY UPLC
H-Class systems. Complete required calibration and performance verification activities in accordance with applicable procedures. Inspect and test relevant instrument components to verify proper operation. Diagnose and resolve basic operational or performance issues identified during maintenance and calibration. Prepare complete, accurate, and traceable service, calibration, and maintenance records. Follow applicable GxP/GMP, laboratory safety, and data integrity requirements. Coordinate onsite activities with the customer and provide a summary of completed work, findings, and any recommended follow-up actions. Requirements Required Qualifications Demonstrated hands-on experience with Waters
ACQUITY UPLC
H-Class systems . Practical experience performing
UPLC/HPLC
calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification. Experience working in GxP/GMP-regulated pharmaceutical laboratories . Ability to independently execute onsite service activities and complete the required technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Availability for a short-term onsite assignment in East Hanover, New Jersey. Preferred Qualifications Previous Waters service or field engineering experience, or relevant manufacturer training or certification. Experience with Empower CDS , including troubleshooting instrument communication and software connectivity issues.
