Job Description

Seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to perform electrical, controls, automation, and preventive maintenance on food manufacturing and packaging equipment. The technician will troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, complete repairs, perform PMs, and support production operations. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair 480V/240V/208V electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and controls . Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document work in CMMS. Read electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Support equipment installation, wiring, startup, and troubleshooting. Troubleshoot sensors, instrumentation, safety circuits, and automation systems. Follow
LOTO, NFPA
70E, OSHA, GMP, and food safety requirements. Equipment Experience Experience with food processing/packaging equipment such as: Spiral & tunnel freezers Fillers, depositors, portioners & grinders Mixers and dough processing equipment Ovens and fryers Flow wrappers and cartoners Conveyors Metal detectors and X-ray systems ABB/Fanuc robots Pumps and sanitation equipment Requirements 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience. Food & beverage or food manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase, VFDs, motor controls, and PLCs . Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC experience preferred. High school diploma/GED required; electrical or industrial maintenance training preferred. NFPA 70E and LOTO training required or obtainable. Ability to work in wet, cold, hot, confined, and elevated environments. Overtime and occasional weekend availability required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
