Job Description

We are a growing instrumentation service company (Headquartered in Long Island, New York) looking for remote service technician candidates who are eager to learn in this broad industry. Full on the job training will be given. No prior experience is required. Candidates with previous electrical or mechanical experience will be preferred. A minimum of an associates degree in a technical or engineering field is highly preferred , but not required. This is a hands on job testing / repairing equipment in labs and manufacturing environments. Carrying a backpack with a laptop, tools and a case of test equipment is a daily occurrence. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods, You will be dealing face to face with customers (Typically engineers or scientists) daily, so being well spoken and having good communication skills is highly valued. The technician will be supplied with equipment to perform testing in the field. Full on the job training will be given. No prior calibration experience is required. Candidates with previous electrical or mechanical experience will be preferred. A minimum of an associates degree in a technical or engineering field is highly preferred , but not required. Primarily serving the Pharmaceutical Industry Daily travel to customer sites is standard. Typically we will be on one customer site per day. Must be proficient with Microsoft windows and Excel. Basic algebra skills are required.
Pay:
$29.00 - $35.00 per hour
