full-time About the Company Robotic Imaging is a reality capture and scan-to-BIM company. We document buildings

  • retail chains, commercial properties, utilities, and infrastructure
  • using terrestrial laser scanners, drones, and 360° capture, and turn that data into as-built models and digital twins our clients build from.

About the Role We're hiring Field Technicians to run capture on sites across the country.

This is a travel role:

you'll be on the road roughly five days a week, hitting multiple sites per trip, then handing clean data to our modeling team. Responsibilities Operate Leica Geosystems laser scanners (RTC360, BLK360) and Matterport cameras on active commercial and retail sites Plan scan coverage, set control, and verify data quality before leaving site Document utility infrastructure

  • panels, meters, roof units, service entries, and related assets Capture supporting photo and video documentation and log site conditions Coordinate with property managers, landlords, and site contacts on access Upload and register data, and flag issues before they reach the modeling team Qualifications Willingness to travel 5 days a week
  • this is non-negotiable and the core of the job Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfort working independently on unfamiliar sites, sometimes in occupied or after-hours conditions Attention to detail and the discipline to verify your own work before you leave Ability to lift and move equipment cases (up to 50 lbs) and access roofs, mechanical rooms, and crawl spaces Required Skills Nice to have•not required Experience with Leica scanners, Matterport, or any 3D capture platform Background documenting commercial or retail buildings Experience with utility or MEP documentation Familiarity with Cyclone
