Job Description

Radiator Repair Technician / Solder Man New York Auto Radiator - Binghamton, NY We are looking for an experienced Radiator Repair Technician / Solder Man to join our shop. This is a hands-on position for someone who has experience with traditional radiator repair. We work on automotive, truck, heavy-duty, industrial, agricultural, and equipment cooling systems. Responsibilities Solder and repair copper/brass radiators Repair radiator tanks, necks, seams, and fittings Remove and install tanks and perform radiator recore work Clean, flush, pressure test, and diagnose radiators Repair heater cores, oil coolers, and other heat exchangers Repair and pressure test fuel tanks Identify leaks and determine whether a unit should be repaired, recored, or replaced Work on everything from passenger vehicles to heavy trucks and equipment Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized Experience We're Looking For Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: Radiator soldering Copper/brass radiator repair Radiator recoring Torch soldering and brazing Fuel tank repair Heavy-duty radiator repair Heat exchanger repair Aluminum TIG welding experience is a plus but is not required. We are especially interested in someone with old-school radiator shop experience . If you've spent years repairing and soldering radiators and are looking for a shop where those skills are still valued and used every day, we want to talk to you. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
