  • Full-time We are looking for an experienced electrical engineering technician/engineer that likes to travel and that can troubleshoot.
The ideal candidate will be focused on exceptional customer support to help our customers optimize their recycling systems and to assist our company to grow. We are seeking a motivated technician/engineer with a strong electrical/mechanical background to support our equipment in the recycling industry. If you are looking for solid experience, we are willing to train the candidate with the right attitude. This position requires travel throughout North America. Travel varies based on customer demand. Only candidates in Western New York or surrounding area within a reasonable commuting distance of our office will be considered. No relocation available. The duties of this position are to provide technical field service and training for our state-of-the-art sorting equipment and systems, which includes:
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
  • Maintenance of our sorting equipment/systems
  • Operator training
  • Quality analysis of customer products
  • Support for our customers over the phone or through remote computer connection
  • Maintenance of spare parts stock, packaging, and shipping parts to customers
  • Filing of necessary reports and other required paperwork
  • Evaluation of potential customers feed material
  • Operating demonstration equipment for potential future sales This position requires someone who can:
  • Effectively communicate with the customers both in person/telephone and through written communication form such as e-mail and field reports.
  • Perform a high degree of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
  • Candidates with mechanical drawing or project management experience would be a plus
  • Climb flights of stairs and able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Travel without restriction throughout USA, Canada, and Europe Only candidates in Western New York or surrounding area within a reasonable commuting distance of our office will be considered.
