What You Will Do:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other power-driven equipment to minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve basic electrical issues, including those involving PLCs, motion control devices, and sensors. Collaborate with the engineering team to support process improvements and assist with advanced troubleshooting as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and metric measurements to guide repair and maintenance tasks. Perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders accurately, and track inventory of repair parts. Transport parts using a forklift and assist with fabricating or producing metal parts for equipment repairs. Perform heat treatment and welding of parts as required for maintenance and repair tasks. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist in monitoring and managing parts inventory. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operations. Ability to analyze and repair machine and equipment involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, other power sources and basic electronics. Able to read and/or understand blueprints, schematics and standard metric measurements Transport parts using forklift. Perform basic machine shop duties Maintain a clean organized area. Assist in maintaining inventory of parts.
What You Will Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, drill presses, welders, grinders, torches, and other general maintenance tools. Strong ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work overtime and 12-hour shifts as needed. Ability to safely lift heavy materials and work in varying temperature environments, including hot and cold conditions. Forklift experience preferred. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including control wiring, drives, and PLC troubleshooting. Electrical license preferred, though a strong electrical background is required. Proven welding and fabricating skills with the ability to perform precision repairs. Must have basic computer skills Must be able to work without direct supervision Must be able to read measuring devices, blueprints and schematics Must have excellent work record and attendance Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks Must have good math skills (add, subtract, divide, convert to metrics system, geometry). Prefer electromechanical and basic PLC troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of Lean Principles a plus Why Join Us?
