An Electronics Technician helps engineers design and develop electrical and electronic equipment. Assists with diagrams and specifications for design, construction of product prototypes, testing and calibration, technical problem solving, equipment repair and maintenance while ensuring regulatory safety standards are met.
$19/hr Job Description A small manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on technician who loves taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and putting them back together. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical assembly, dis-assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of components Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment accurately and safely Assist with basic electronic tasks, such as inspecting boards, testing continuity, and checking components like fuses and resistors using a multimeter Collaborate closely with team members to solve technical issues and keep production moving Keep workspace, tools, and inventory organized and clean
Job Requirements Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; Vocational training or trade school coursework in electronics or mechanical maintenance is a bonus Must have a background or familiarity with basic electrical/electronic principles, including using a multimeter to test fuses, resistors, and basic circuits Experience or coursework as a Mechanical/Electronics Technician, Assembler, or Tinkerer/Hobbyist with relevant hands-on skills Must have a demonstrated knack for mechanical diagnostics — you enjoy figuring out why something isn't working and fixing it Must have the ability to take care in assembly quality and follows safety guidelines consistently Must have exceptional hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and a strong natural mechanical curiosity Must be friendly, dependable, and comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment where everyone relies on one another The ability to collaborate well, communicate clearly, and thrive in a supportive, all-hands-on-deck environment Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
