Maintenance Technician:
Make repairs to machines as needed with emphasis on hydraulic presses Recommend modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions or to improve safety, quality, or equipment operating parameters Perform repairs and troubleshoot on machinery and repair of hydraulic and other systems Assist in repairing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew Follow all Company policies, including but not limited to all related safety policies. Maintenance Technician:
Experience with large hydraulic systems, pump diagnosis, cylinder rebuilds, pump repairs, valve tuning as well as control functions and troubleshooting 2 years' experience in a maintenance manufacturing setting is a must Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts Training and experience in use of PLC's is a plus Welding and fabrication skills are a plus Read and interpret electrical drawings is a plus Strong communication skills are a must Analyze and resolve work problems and assists other technicians as needed Must be willing to participate in all required job and or employment related trainings. This includes but is not limited to all safety and technical or role or tool specific trainings. Physical requirements of the
Maintenance Technician:
This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures can fluctuate from hot to cold and noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn and climb frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual in this role may work above ground level (off the ground) for long periods of time. An individual in this role will need to be aware of movement and/or noises around them at all times. An individual in this role must move 50lbs frequently and up to 75lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read and follow written procedures in English.
Education:
HS Diploma/GED required Maintenance training & education preferred BRT is an EEO Employer
