Must have OWN tools lots of them ... lots of motor and trans swaps M-F 8-5 paid weekly $20-$45 hr based on experience buildings clean safe secure heat and ac alarm with camereas Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using tools such as the ohmmeter to identify electrical issues accurately Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures Inspect vehicles thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and recommend appropriate solutions Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed within designated timeframes Experience Proven experience as a professional mechanic with a strong track record of diagnosing and repairing vehicles or machinery Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting Solid understanding of automotive or mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical wiring Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides with ease Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail Valid certification or license in automotive or mechanical repair is preferred but not mandatory if extensive experience is demonstrated
