Electronic Repair Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electronic Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various electronic devices, including tablets, gauges, sensors, and specialized equipment. The position offers a first-shift schedule with flexible start times and minimal overtime, providing an excellent work-life balance. Responsibilities Diagnose and determine the root cause of failures for electronic devices. Perform hands-on repairs, including calibration and testing using specialized equipment. Troubleshoot printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies. Conduct through-hole and surface mount soldering repairs. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Document repairs, parts replaced, and service details in SAP. Create service orders and maintain accurate repair records. Utilize hand tools, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, micrometers, and testing equipment. Collaborate with other technicians specializing in various repair processes. Occasionally interact with customers regarding equipment repairs. Essential Skills Experience with electronic assembly, testing, or repair. Proficiency in soldering (through-hole and/or surface mount). Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
