Service Technician - Analytical Instrumentation On-site, Solon, OH Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5

PM Pay:

$24-32 per hour, based on experience Ohio Lumex Co., Inc. is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Service Technician to join our growing Service Department. This position is responsible for equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and quality assurance activities supporting analytical instrumentation and technical equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical, electronics, engineering, or technical background who is looking to grow their hands-on technical skills through training and cross-functional experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, testing, and certification of analytical and technical equipment Assist with calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities Assist with component assembly and installation Conduct quality control testing and verification of equipment prior to shipment Prepare and package equipment for return shipment Complete service documentation following maintenance and repair activities Support evaluation and preparation of equipment for customer applications Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Qualifications:

Technical, mechanical, electronics, engineering, or related experience required Experience with instrumentation, calibration, analytical equipment, electronics, or field service work preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
